The Santa Rosa Lions baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Raton Tigers to 3 in the Lions league win on Friday.

The Lions now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clayton for a 2A District 6 test on Tuesday, April 22.

With the defeat, Raton drops to 7-10 on the year. The Tigers host Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM) to clash with the Rattlers in a 2A District 6 test on Monday, April 21. The Rattlers go into the test with a record of 6-7. Tucumcari won 17-14 in their recent league test against Estancia (Estancia, NM)
