Rhode Island High School Softball - Burrillville succumbs to Portsmouth

In Friday's non-league test, the Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI), by a tally of 20-3.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Ludlowe Falcons (Fairfield, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 19. Portsmouth will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 6-2 league win over Greenwich (Greenwich, CT).

The Broncos (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Central Falls (Central Falls, RI). The Warriors go into the Division 3 test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Central Falls prevailed over Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI), 19-2, in a league test.
