West Virginia High School Softball - East Fairmont knocked off by Lewis County

April 18, 2025: Weston, WV 26452

The Lewis County Minutemen overwhelmed the visiting East Fairmont Bees softball squad by a count of 12-4 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Minutemen meet the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Saturday, April 19. Lewis County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Indians go into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 10-9 league loss to Preston (Kingwood, WV).

The Bees (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Clarksburg, WV). The Mountaineers go into the Big Ten challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Liberty was routed by Preston (Kingwood, WV), 20-1, in a league challenge.
