In Friday's league test, the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) softball squad overwhelmed the host Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV), by a count of 15-1.
Next, the Lakers meet the Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV) in a 1A Northern test, on Friday, April 18. Pyramid Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Vandals go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 34-21 non-league loss to Carlin (Carlin, NV).
The Vandals (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV). The Lakers go into the 1A Northern test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Pyramid Lake toppled Virginia City (Virginia City, NV), 17-7, in a league test.
