The Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) softball routed the host Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV), 18-2 in Friday's league outing.

The Lakers now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Virginia City for a 1A Northern outing on Tuesday, April 22. Pyramid Lake will encounter a Muckers squad coming off a 27-4 league loss to Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Muckers record now stands at 10-6.

The Vandals (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Serpents enter the non-league challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Mineral County was routed by Smith Valley (Smith, NV), 12-0, in a league challenge.
