In Tuesday's league battle, the host West Ashley Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Summerville Green Wave.
The Wildcats (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC). The Patriots come into the AAAAA Region 8 battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Fort Dorchester nudged Stall (Charleston, SC), 3-0, in a league challenge.
The Green Wave now possess a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stratford for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 20. Summerville will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-2 league Cane Bay (Summerville, SC). The Knights record now stands at 7-6.
