Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), witnessed Bel Air's softball squad tip Parkland by a count of 4-2.

The Highlanders now sport a 7-22 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon for a 5A Region I District 2 match on Friday, April 22. Bel Air will meet a Scorpions squad coming off a 19-5 league loss to Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 7-19.

With the loss, Parkland moves to 17-13 on the season. The Matadors host Hanks (El Paso, TX) to meet the Knights in a 5A Region I District 2 match on Friday, April 22. The Knights go into the match with a record of 31-3. Hanks won 27-0 in their recent league match against Canutillo (Canutillo, TX)
