The Bulldogs (17-6) will now prepare for their bout against Cooper (Abilene, TX). The Cougars go into the 5A Region I District 4 bout with a 7-8 record. In their last bout, Cooper was routed by Coronado (Lubbock, TX), 4-1, in a league bout.

The Westerners now possess a 1-17 record. They play next when they host Monterey for a 5A Region I District 4 bout on Friday, April 22. Lubbock will confront a Plainsmen squad coming off a 22-12 league win over Cooper (Lubbock, TX). The Plainsmen record now stands at 25-4.
