Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Illiana Christian for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Lake Central will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Lake Central (St. John, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, La Porte falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Slicers travel to Lake Central (St. John, IN) to battle the Indians in a challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 6-1.
