The Lake Central Indians softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting La Porte Slicers to 0 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Lake Central moves its record to 19-2 on the year. The Indians host Highland (Highland, IN) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 17. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 7-8. Highland lost 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN)

In their next game, the Slicers play the Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 18. La Porte will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 11-8 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Concord (Elkhart, IN).
