The Andrews Yellowjackets softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Waccamaw Warriors to 10 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Andrews improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Marion (Marion, SC) to clash with the Swamp Foxes in a AA Region 8 game on Tuesday, April 25. The Swamp Foxes come into the game with a record of 12-3.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 20. Waccamaw will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Braves come into the game with a 0-14 record after their 13-0 league loss to Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC).
