Arizona High School Softball - Marcos de Niza bounces Coronado

The Marcos de Niza Padres (Tempe, AZ) softball routed the visiting Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ), 15-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Padres (11-6) will now prepare for their bout against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Wildcats go into the 4A Desert Sky bout with a 6-14 record. In their last bout, Mesquite was routed by Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ), 9-5, in a non-league bout.

The Dons now possess a 0-16 record. They play next when they host Cortez for a 4A Black Canyon bout on Thursday, April 20. Coronado will confront a Colts squad coming off a 19-2 league loss to Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ). The Colts record now stands at 3-14.
