With the win, Laney upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Vikings in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 23. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 16-3. Hoggard lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)

With the defeat, South Brunswick falls to 9-9 on the season. The Cougars host Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to battle the Pirates in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 23. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 10-7. Topsail won 13-7 in their recent league test against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)
