North Carolina High School Softball - Elkin bounces Alleghany

The Elkin Buckin' Elks routed the host Alleghany Trojans softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Friday's league battle.

The Buckin' Elks (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears go into the Northwest 1A battle with a 1-15 record. In their last battle, Mount Airy was routed by South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Trojans now possess a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Starmount for a Northwest 1A battle on Tuesday, April 23.
