Illinois High School Softball - Glenbrook North held off by Lakes

The Lakes Eagles got by the host Glenbrook North Spartans softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) in a Northern Lake County challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Sequoits go into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL).
The Spartans (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Titans go into the Central Suburban - South challenge with a 1-13 record. In their last challenge, Glenbrook South was nudged by Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL), 14-2, in a non-league challenge.
