Texas High School Softball - Chapin bounces Jefferson

The Chapin Huskies routed the visiting Jefferson Silver Foxes softball squad by a final score of 22-0 in Saturday's league battle.

The Huskies (23-6) will now prepare for their battle against Austin (El Paso, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region I District 1 battle with a 1-20 record. In their last battle, Austin was routed by Bowie (El Paso, TX), 22-12, in a league battle.

The Silver Foxes now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Burges for a 5A Region I District 1 battle on Wednesday, April 6. Jefferson will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 21-2 league win over Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-8.
