Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 11-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cypress Park for a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Friday, April 5. Cypress Ranch will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Bridgeland (Cypress, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-18.

With the loss, Cypress Springs falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Langham Creek (Houston, TX) to battle the Lobos in a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Lobos enter the challenge with a record of 24-5. Langham Creek lost 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX)
