The North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX) softball nipped the visiting King Panthers (Houston, TX), 1-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Mustangs (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Summer Creek (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region III District 21 bout with a 19-8 record. In their last bout, Summer Creek held off Humble (Humble, TX), 10-0, in a league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 21-8 record. They play next when they host Kingwood for a 6A Region III District 21 bout on Friday, April 5. King will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Atascocita (Humble, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 22-6.
