Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV), 12-4 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Hoover improves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Huskies host South Charleston (South Charleston, WV) to play the Black Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, April 4. The Black Eagles enter the game with a record of 2-7. South Charleston lost 14-6 in their recent league game against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV)
The Grizzlies now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Greenbrier West for a non-league game on Thursday, April 3.
