Colorado High School Baseball - Thornton loses to Aurora Central

In Thursday's league bout, the Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO) baseball squad trounced the host Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO), by a count of 16-6.

The Trojans now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Overland for a 4A/5A Colorado challenge on Tuesday, April 7. Aurora Central will clash with a Blazers team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Mountain Range (Westminster, CO). The Blazers record now stands at 4-5.

With the defeat, Thornton drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Englewood (Englewood, CO) to face the Pirates in a non-league battle on Monday, April 6. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 2-3. Englewood lost 22-2 in their recent non-league battle against D'Evelyn (Denver, CO)
