Colorado High School Baseball - Thornton loses to Aurora Central

The Thornton Trojans baseball squad (Thornton, CO), was overwhelmed 16-7 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO)

With the triumph, Aurora Central moves its record to 4-7 on the season. The Trojans travel to Kennedy (Denver, CO) to confront the Commanders in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 22. The Commanders come into the contest with a record of 4-10. Kennedy lost 12-2 in their recent league contest against Lincoln (Denver, CO)

The Trojans now possess a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Adams City for a 4A/5A Colorado contest on Thursday, April 23. Thornton will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Gateway (Aurora, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 8-6.
