Ohio High School Softball - Jefferson Area bounces Struthers

Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Struthers Wildcats (Struthers, OH), 18-6 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Madison for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. Jefferson Area will battle a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Mayfield (Mayfield, OH). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Struthers falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH) to battle the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 0-8. Lakeside lost 31-0 in their recent league challenge against Perry (Perry, OH)
