Ohio High School Softball - Jefferson Area edged by Struthers

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Struthers Wildcats softball team scored a close 6-5 win over the Jefferson Area Falcons.

Coming up next, the Wildcats battle the Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 12. Struthers will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 18-7 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Chaney (Youngstown, OH).

The Falcons (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH). The Dragons enter the non-league outing with a 0-17 record. In their last outing, Lakeside was tipped by Kirtland (Kirtland, OH), 17-4, in a non-league outing.
