Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Carondelet Cougars (Concord, CA), 7-1 in a league challenge.

The Dons now own a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they host Dublin for a East Bay challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Amador Valley will battle a Gaels squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Granada (Livermore, CA). The Gaels record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, Carondelet falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Cougars host Foothill (Pleasanton, CA) to battle the Falcons in a East Bay challenge on Friday, April 21. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 8-9. Foothill won 11-7 in their recent league challenge against Livermore (Livermore, CA)
