Ohio High School Softball - Hopewell-Loudon bounces New Riegel

The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) softball routed the host New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH), 14-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Chieftains (14-0) will now prepare for their bout against St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH). The Crimson Streaks go into the Sandusky Bay - River bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, St. Joseph Central Catholic toppled Danbury (Lakeside, OH), 9-5, in a league bout.

The Blue Jackets now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Calvert for a Sandusky Bay - River bout on Friday, April 21. New Riegel will confront a Senecas squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Arcadia (Arcadia, OH). The Senecas record now stands at 6-3.
