Ohio High School Softball - Hopewell-Loudon bounces New Riegel

The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains routed the visiting New Riegel Blue Jackets softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Chieftains (22-0) will now prepare for their battle against Old Fort (Old Fort, OH). The Stockaders go into the Sandusky Bay - River battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Old Fort was routed by Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH), 13-0, in a league battle.

The Blue Jackets now sport a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Lakota for a Sandusky Bay - River battle on Wednesday, May 10. New Riegel will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 24-2 league win over St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 6-12.
