The Westwood Redhawks softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Irmo Yellowjackets to 11 in the Redhawks league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Westwood moves its record to 11-8 on the year. The Redhawks host South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC) to clash with the Stallions in a non-league game on Monday, April 24. The Stallions come into the game with a record of 1-9. South Pointe lost 20-1 in their recent league game against York (York, SC)

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the A.C. Flora Falcons (Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 game, on Monday, April 24. Irmo will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 11-8 record after their 11-10 league win over Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC).
