Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL) and the host Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL), witnessed Pike Road's softball squad prevail over Russell County by a count of 13-3.

The Patriots now sport a 22-13 record. They play next when they travel to Calera for a non-league match on Friday, April 21. Pike Road will face a Eagles squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Chilton County (Clanton, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 13-16.

With the loss, Russell County moves to 2-10 on the season. The Warriors travel to Prattville (Prattville, AL) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, April 21.
