The Charleston Catholic Irish baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders to 0 in the Irish league victory on Thursday.
The Irish (6-5) will now prepare for their match against James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Mavericks go into the non-league match with a 8-7 record.
The Crusaders (7-9) will now prepare for their match against Richwood (Richwood, WV). The Lumberjacks go into the Coalfield AA match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Richwood by Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV), 11-1, in a non-league match.
