In Thursday's league game, the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) soccer squad overwhelmed the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), by a final score of 6-1.
The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets go into the Jefferson game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Orange County nipped Goochland (Goochland, VA), 4-0, in a league game.
The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights go into the Jefferson game with a 5-2 record.
