Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 4-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors confront the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Wednesday, May 18. Western Albemarle will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Black Knights enter the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 4-2 league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).

The Mustangs now possess a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Louisa County for a Jefferson challenge on Wednesday, May 18. Monticello will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Lions record now stands at 2-13.
