The Memphis East Mustangs held off the visiting Crosstown Explorers soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's league match.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Craigmont for a 2A District 16 match on Monday, April 25.
With the loss, Crosstown drops to 7-4 on the season. The Explorers travel to Millington Central (Millington, TN) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league match on Thursday, April 28. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 8-3.
