The Hunt Warriors softball team scored 24 runs and limited the host Smithfield-Selma Spartans to 1 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Hunt moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Warriors host Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC) to clash with the Saints in a Quad County 3A game on Tuesday, April 25. The Saints come into the game with a record of 7-9. Southern Wayne lost 13-0 in their recent league game against West Johnston (Benson, NC)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Fike Demons (Wilson, NC) in a Quad County 3A game, on Tuesday, April 25. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to move on its 0-18 season record. The Demons come into the game with a 2-15 record after their 14-0 league loss to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC).
