The Polk County Wolverines softball team (Columbus, NC), was routed 7-3 in Friday's league test with the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC)
Coming up next, the Hilltoppers encounter the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 24. R-S Central will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 5-9 record after their 10-0 league loss to Enka (Enka, NC).
The Wolverines (7-10) will now prepare for their test against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers come into the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A test with a 11-6 record.
