In Monday's league game, the visiting Lincoln Cougars baseball team scored a close 13-8 victory over the Preston Knights.

The Cougars (9-9) will now prepare for their game against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights enter the Big Ten game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Preston nipped Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV), 12-2, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Preston drops to 5-6 on the year. The Knights host Lincoln (Shinnston, WV) to clash with the Cougars in a Big Ten challenge on Monday, April 21. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Lincoln lost 14-4 in their recent non-league test against Northern Garrett (Accident, MD)
