Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host McMahon Senators (Norwalk, CT), 8-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Staples improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Wreckers travel to Wilton (Wilton, CT) to play the Warriors in a Fairfield County game on Friday, May 2. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 2-3.

The Senators now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Trumbull for a Fairfield County game on Wednesday, April 23.
