The Lake Creek Lions baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Cleveland Indians to 0 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions (15-3) will now prepare for their match against Caney Creek (Conroe, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region III District 20 match with a 4-21 record. In their last match, Caney Creek was overwhelmed by New Caney (New Caney, TX), 6-4, in a league match.
The Indians (5-20) will now prepare for their match against Montgomery (Montgomery, TX). The Bears go into the 5A Region III District 20 match with a 14-8 record. In their last match, Montgomery gained a win over Porter (Porter, TX), 10-3, in a league match.
