North Carolina High School Baseball - West Johnston nudged by South Johnston

The West Johnston Wildcats baseball team (Benson, NC), was tipped 4-3 in Friday's league outing with the visiting South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC)

The Trojans now hold a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host C.B. Aycock for a Quad County 3A outing on Tuesday, April 26. South Johnston will face a Golden Falcons team coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Rocky Mount Academy (Rocky Mount, NC). The Golden Falcons record now stands at 13-4.

Next, the Wildcats face the East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) in a Quad County 3A outing, on Tuesday, April 26. West Johnston will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 11-8 record after their 14-3 league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC).
