The crowd at Friday's league test between the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA), saw Fleming's soccer squad beat Staunton River by a margin of 5-1.

The Colonels now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Byrd for a Blue Ridge test on Tuesday, April 26. Fleming will meet a Terriers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Terriers record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Staunton River drops to 1-9 on the season. The Golden eagles host Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to meet the Cavaliers in a Blue Ridge test on Tuesday, April 26. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 6-4. Lord Botetourt won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA)
