Next, the Colonels confront the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 11. Fleming will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).

The Golden Eagles now possess a 2-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a Blue Ridge challenge on Friday, May 13. Staunton River will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 4-0 league win over Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 10-3.
