North Carolina High School Softball - West Rowan bounces East Rowan

April 22, 2022: Mt. Ulla, NC 28125

Spectators at Friday's league match between the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) and the visiting East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), witnessed West Rowan's softball squad tip East Rowan by a count of 14-7.

The Falcons now sport a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Carson for a South Piedmont 3A match on Tuesday, April 26. West Rowan will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 10-9.

The Mustangs (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders enter the South Piedmont 3A outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Concord was routed by Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 11-2, in a league outing.
