Maine High School Softball - Orono bounces Washington Academy

Orono Riots (Orono, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME), 21-3 in a league challenge.
The Riots now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to George Stevens Academy for a Class C North challenge on Wednesday, April 27.
With the loss, Washington Academy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Calais (Calais, ME) to face the Blue Devils in a Class C North challenge on Monday, April 25. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
