The Orono Riots softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Washington Academy Raiders to 0 in the Riots league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Orono moves its record to 2-9 on the year. The Riots travel to Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME) to clash with the Lynx in a Class C North game on Monday, May 23. The Lynx come into the game with a record of 11-1.
In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Narraguagus Knights (Harrington, ME) in a Class C North game, on Monday, May 23. Washington Academy will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 5-4 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Woodland (Baileyville, ME).
