West Virginia High School Baseball - Winfield loses to Ripley

The Winfield Generals baseball team (Winfield, WV), was overwhelmed 11-4 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV)

The Vikings now hold a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Valley for a Mountain State outing on Tuesday, April 25. Ripley will face a Timberwolves team coming off a 10-0 league win over Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Timberwolves record now stands at 17-4.

Next, the Generals face the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) in a Cardinal outing, on Monday, April 24. Winfield will attempt to advance on its 13-7 season record. The Huskies enter the outing with a 9-4 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Lewis County (Weston, WV).
