In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Mira Costa Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the San Clemente Tritons.
The Mustangs (29-6) will now prepare for their battle against Loyola (Los Angeles, CA). The Cubs come into the non-league battle with a 19-1 record. In their last battle, Loyola achieved victory over Burroughs (Burbank, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tritons encounter the Woodrow Wilson Bruins (Long Beach, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 22. San Clemente will attempt to advance on its 11-17 season record. The Bruins come into the battle with a 29-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over St. Francis (La Canada, CA).
