The Kirtland Central Broncos softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Shiprock Chieftains to 4 in the Broncos league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Kirtland Central moves its record to 5-15 on the year. The Broncos travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM) to clash with the Bobcats in a 4A District 1 game on Tuesday, April 25. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 11-13. Bloomfield lost 6-1 in their recent league game against Aztec (Aztec, NM)

In their next game, the Chieftains clash with the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) in a 4A District 1 game, on Tuesday, April 25. Shiprock will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 14-8 record after their 9-2 league loss to Gallup (Gallup, NM).
