New Mexico High School Softball - Pojoaque Valley nudges Taos

Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 18-17 in a league challenge.

The Elks/Elkettes now sport a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they host Taos for a 4A District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 22. Pojoaque Valley will face a Tigers squad coming off a 13-12 league loss to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 3-14.

With the loss, Taos falls to 3-15 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM) to face the Elks/Elkettes in a 4A District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 22. The Elks/Elkettes enter the challenge with a record of 6-15. Pojoaque Valley lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)
