The Fruitland Grizzlies softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Payette Pirates to 5 in the Grizzlies league win on Monday.

The Grizzlies now possess a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parma for a 3A Snake River Valley battle on Wednesday, April 24. Fruitland will confront a Panthers team coming off a 11-1 league loss to McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID). The Panthers record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Payette moves to 0-13 on the season. The Pirates host Homedale (Homedale, ID) to confront the Trojans in a 3A Snake River Valley battle on Wednesday, April 24. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 11-4. Homedale won 11-6 in their recent league battle against Weiser (Weiser, ID)
