The St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) baseball got by the host Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 2-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Sartans now own a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they host Valencia for a 4A District 5 challenge on Friday, April 25. St. Pius X will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Grants (Grants, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-13.
With the defeat, Grants drops to 13-6 on the year. The Pirates travel to Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Hornets in a 4A District 5 challenge on Friday, April 25. The Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Highland lost 18-11 in their recent league challenge against Belen (Belen, NM)
