The GVCS Broadfording Lions baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Hancock Panthers to 2 in the Lions non-league win on Tuesday.

The Lions now hold a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Musselman for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. GVCS Broadfording will play a Applemen team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Applemen record now stands at 7-11.

With the defeat, Hancock drops to 4-6 on the year. The Panthers host Southern (Oakland, MD) to play the Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. The Rams go into the test with a record of 6-6. Southern lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Allegany (Cumberland, MD)
